Sitcom Trials Cleans Up

The first ever Birmingham Sitcom Trials was a success on friday night at the Old Joint Stock Theatre.

We were very pleased to announce local writers, Richard Constable and Roger Saunders, won the audience vote with their entry 'The Cleaners' - set in an underworld morgue.. I was lucky enough to be an actor in this piece as well, playing east-end, work experience kid, Adam.

We had a great audience reaction; all getting involved in pitching new ideas for sitcoms themselves. We can't wait to see how all the scripts develop.
